Shohreh is a famous Iranian/American Oscar nominated actress who lives in Los Angeles. She started her career in Iran pre 1979 terrorism takeover and had a stellar career in the Iranian cinema. Like millions of her compatriots she had to emigrate to the US and like many of them was successful in meshing into the culture and rose to prominence both in the Iranian community and Hollywood. She was nominated in 2012 for Oscars as a supporting actress in a movie.
