Vida is an actress and journalist living in LA. She is the daughter of the late Dr. Abolghassem Ghaffari; the first Iranian scientist who worked for NASA and the National Standards Institute. 

She is an Iranian-American actress, voiceover artist, and filmmaker. She has appeared in various films and television shows, including “The Mindy Project,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “CSI: NY,” “The Shield,” “NCIS,” “Bones,” and “Criminal Minds.” Vida has also worked as a voiceover artist, lending her voice to numerous commercials, video games, and animated shows.

In addition to her work in front of the camera, Vida is also a filmmaker. She has produced and directed several short films, including “The Persian Connection” and “No Alternative Girls.” Vida has been recognized for her work in the entertainment industry with several awards, including the Best Actress award at the 2017 Silicon Beach Film Festival for her role in the film “Strangers in a Book.”

Vida is also an advocate for diversity in Hollywood and has spoken out about the need for more representation for Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) actors in the entertainment industry. She is a member of the Women in Film organization and is actively involved in various charitable causes.
